I’ve read so many of these articles regarding the importance of taking aromatase inhibitors. Not enough has been said about living with the side effects of taking them. I was on Tamoxifen for five years and four months ago began my treatment with Femara. The quality of my day to day life has dropped significantly due the the constant pain and depression that I am now living with. My oncologist has nothing to say. I read some of the 118 comments found online….all negative and some desperate…yet there’s just nothing out there about help in dealing with these. I know that doctors are aware of these side effects, but do any of you really hear what their patients are saying??? 5 years is such a long time to live with this kind of pain and the depression that comes with it.
